What is a package plant?
A package plant is a small, prefabricated wastewater treatment plant built as a self-contained unit and dropped in where a full-size plant is not practical, such as a subdivision, park, or small community. It runs the same basic treatment steps at a smaller scale, and a Class D operator often runs one.
