Frequently asked questions
Straight answers, no hype. If your question is not here, the exam pages link the official TCEQ source for every requirement.
- Is Water Operator Exam Prep free?
- The operator-math practice, the daily Today's 5 set, and the calculators are free with no account. Paid plans add the full reviewed question bank once it clears licensed-operator review.
- Are these real exam questions?
- No. Every question is original and reviewed. We never use recalled, leaked, or memorized exam questions, and we do not reproduce protected exam material.
- Which exams does it cover?
- The Texas Class D water and Texas Class D wastewater operator exams, each bound to the official TCEQ subject and math scope. Water and wastewater content is never mixed.
- Will it tell me whether I am ready?
- No, and we will never claim to. We show what to study next and why. No honest tool can tell you in advance how you will do on the official exam.
- Do I need an account to practice?
- No. The free practice and the calculators work with no sign-up, and your progress saves on your device so you can pick up where you left off.
- How much does paid access cost?
- It is a one-time purchase: $49 for 30 days or $129 for 90 days. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews.
- Is this affiliated with the TCEQ?
- No. We are independent and not affiliated with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Official requirements always come from the TCEQ sources we link on each page.
- What is on the Texas Class D exam?
- A three-hour closed-book exam over the official Need-to-Know subjects for your track, including operator math. The exam-details page lists the subjects with their source.
